Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Portland, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The project includes potholing and recording of the material of existing water services throughout the City of Portland. The project includes 948 in-home material verifications, 207 corporation stop material verification, 207 public and private-side of the curb stop box material verifications, and 92 private-side only curb stop material verification. Work will include surface restoration, concrete removal and replacement, HMA removal and replacement, and traffic control as necessary for the potholing operation The City of Portland has received a Technical, Managerial, and Financial Grant from the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy (EGLE) for approximately $200,000 of construction. The quantities will be adjusted post-bid as to not exceed the grant amount. The date the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. A pre-bid conference will not be held. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. The City of Portland reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the City of Portland.
