Request for Proposal (RFP) to solicit proposals (Proposals) from a qualified Civil + Architect team (Respondents) to assist in the development of a concept and detailed design for a new Department of Transportation Administration building at Douglas Countys transportation center, located at 8800 Dorris Rd, Douglasville, GA 30134, (the Project). Capitalized terms in this RFP, if not defined here, are defined in the Agreement (defined below) for the Project. The Project will be funded with SPLOST funds. The Project is required to comply with all applicable statutes, rules and regulations, as well as those of Douglas County, including local permitting of the project. Additionally, the Project must comply with all SPLOST rules, regulations, specifications, and requirements. Douglas County reserves the right to waive informalities, to reject any and all bids, to evaluate bids, to accept portions of any bid, and to accept any bid, which in its opinion, may be in the best interest of the County. The County reserves the right to add to or delete from the contract after the contract has been awarded. No bid will be received and accepted after the above specified date and time of the bid opening. Bids submitted after the designated date and time will be deemed invalid and returned unopened to the bidder. No bid may be withdrawn within ninety (90) days after the bid opening and all bids shall remain firm during this period. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
