Renovation of a multi-residential development in New York, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
The Scope of Work includes the complete painting of apartments as described and specified below WITH THE EXCEPTION OF: closed closets and interior surfaces of hall located broom closets of occupied apartments interior surfaces only of presently varnished and/or natural finish wood kitchen cabinets and kitchen type cabinets of occupied apartments, Formica, pre-finished or other factory finished surfaces of kitchen cabinets and kitchen type cabinets, newly installed kitchen cabinets, newly installed medicine cabinets, and adjustable window guards, as applicable. All vendors are required to participate in NYCHA's M/WBE Utilization Plan. Vendors are required to complete and submit at least ONE of the following items by the due date listed: M/WBE Utilization Plan: At time of bid submission Waiver of M/WBE Utilization Plan: At least Seven (7) days prior to bid due date. (Partial Waivers MUST be accompanied by M/WBE Utilization Plan) Failure to complete the M/WBE Utilization Plan or Waiver may deem your bid non-responsive This is a solicitation and not an order. This solicitation does not represent a commitment by NYCHA to purchase any services from a vendor. NYCHA reserves the right to postpone, or cancel this solicitation, to alter the requirements at any time, to reject any and all proposals, and to request new proposals and/or refrain from awarding any contract pursuant to this solicitation if NYCHA deems it in its best interest to do so. In addition, NYCHA, in its sole discretion, may waive what it considers to be non-material, non-conformance by a proposer with the requirements of this solicitation. Provided the bidder has submitted a completed Pre-Qualification Application to NYCHA, the bidder may submit a competitive bid in response to this RFQ while NYCHA's evaluation of its Pre-Qualification Application is pending. In the event the bidder's Pre-Qualification Application is not approved, the bid on file or pending award may be deemed non- responsive. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 15% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 15% Location: VARIOUS DEVELOPMENTS LOCATED IN THE FIVE (5) BOROUGHS OF NYC. Contract term: Three (3) years with up to two (2) one-year renewal periods, at NYCHA's sole discretion.
