Date Email Questions Due Aug 9th 2024 Project Description : The center for Colorado Women's History, CCWH, is a community museum of History Colorado, a division of the Colorado Department of Higher Education and a 501(c)3 non-profit that serves more than 75,000 students and 500,000 people each year. History Colorado is a 144 year old institution that operates 10 museums and historic sites, a free public research center, the office of Archaeology and Historic Preservation and the State Historic Fund. The Center for Colorado Women's History focuses on the bold stories, memories, and experiences of women from Colorado. Located in the heart of Denver, the Center offers bold exhibits, personalized tours and special events year round, with a unique gift shop and a beautiful garden. The Center is located at 1310 Bannock St. in Denver. It is an Italianate style historic home built in 1883 and restored to the 1912-24 period of significance. It is a historic house museum and event space that operates every day of the week. It will remain open during construction. This project is to remove and replace existing flat roof TPO roof on the home and the existing wood shingle roof on the Carriage House, as well as all other facets mentioned in construction drawings. The house is a total of 11,229 square feet with a 6,268 square foot building footprint. Please see attached scope for expected warrantees.
