The work for which bids are being requested consists of the following: o Notify property owners of verification work to be completed outside of the home or building via door hangers o Complete 2 exterior verifications at each property according EGLE guidelines and the project specifications, including identification of material type at each location. A certified check or bank draft drawn on a solvent bank in the State of Michigan payable without condition to the City of Otsego, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and a surety company, in an amount equal to 5 percent of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price. Bond forms are included in the Contract Documents. No bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for a period of thirty (30) days to allow for the review of proposals and to allow completion of necessary financial arrangements.
