Site work for a mixed-use development in West Hartford, Connecticut. Conceptual plans call for site work for a golf course.

The Town seeks proposals for a covered structure for 19 driving range stations (bays or stalls). The building shall be pre-engineered, with an aluminum superstructure, aluminum standing seam roof, erected on site. Site specifications are detailed on attached drawings. The Town of West Hartford's Department of Leisure Services intends to overhaul the underutilized driving range at Rockledge Golf Club, located at 289 South Main Street. The facility is in two parts: Golf driving range bays and connectivity to support Trackman technology; 17 bays would be 10' wide, while two bays would be 15-feet wide and be enclosed with simulators for year-round use. A section to contain an interior area to be built by others, which will include a snack bar, ADA-compliant restrooms, a ball washing room and a small, climate controlled server room. Both sections of the building are to be part of one packaged pre-engineered building under one continuous roof. By way of background, the overall site plan is included for reference: Site plan shows how the siting of the building on the course has been selected. Site plan provides the context in which the building is placed. Site plan tells how the building will be accessed via sidewalks and stairs, and other site details, such as how rainwater will be collected (including from the structure's roof). Site plan shows what the driveway access/staging areas/working conditions will be for the erection of the structure on the site. All pages of the Site Plan packaged by SLR are "FOR REFERENCE ONLY" as the work shown is not in this project scope, but they clearly define the context of the building on which you are bidding. SCOPE OF SERVICES Provide a pre-engineered aluminum superstructure. The Town reserves the right to reject proposal for any reason the Town deems advisable and to award a contract to any of the Proposers of service at the sole discretion of the Town. Any item required in this request for Proposal that is not included in a respondent's Proposal shall be specifically noted. If there are no specifically noted exclusions in a Proposal it will be assumed that the Proposer accepts and understands all of the requirements of this RFP.
