Proposals shall be for Pumping and Drain Cleaning at 23 Kitchens (22 School Nutrition kitchens [addresses below] + additional kitchen at Career Academy Culinary Department) at the frequency of 4 times per year. Once in September, December, February and June. Question Deadline 07/22/2024 at 2:00 PM ET Questions related to ITB and requirements - Proposers shall have, to make any inquiries. All inquiries and responses shall be posted online. Whitfield County Schools reserves the right to reject any and all responses and to waive informalities and irregularities. Whitfield County Board of Education reserves the right to make its selection of an approved vendor based on what it deems to be in the best interest of Whitfield County School District. The invitation to bid does not in any way obligate Whitfield County Board of Education to award a contract, nor to pay any cost which might be incurred by anyone in responding to this request. Respondents must include copies of E-Verify affidavit which may be found at online. Also, include Authorizations / Certifications from Dalton Utilities Wastewater Treatment Facility, Georgia Department of Natural Resources Environmental Protection Division as well as any additional current certifications required to perform these services. INSURANCE REQUIRMENTS i. Commercial/Comprehensive General Liability 1. $1,000,000 Bodily Injury Per Person 2. $1,000,000 Bodily Injury Aggregate Limit 3. $ 500,000 Property Damage Per Occurrence 4. $1,000,000 Property Damage Aggregate Limit ii. Comprehensive Automobile Liability 1. $1,000,000 Property Damage Per Occurrence iii. Workmen's Compensation and Employer's' Liability 1. $ 500,000 Bodily Injury Per Person iv. Umbrella or Excess of Loss Coverage 1. $2,000,000 Per Occurrence v. The proposer shall provide an insurance certificate with 21 days after acceptance of contract. vi. Whitfield County School District must have 10-days notice of cancellation or change in insurance coverage and give its approval. EQUIPMENT a. At minimum: i. Two (2) Pumpers with volume capacity indicated Jetter ii. One (1) Jet machine with capacity for 4" lines iii. Before awarding the bid, the Whitfield County Board of Education reserves the right to inspect pumping equipment. Inspection is to be performed by the Operations Maintenance Department of Whitfield County Schools. In the event of an emergency, response time is to be a maximum of two (2) hours. The Whitfield County Board of Education reserves the right to use another vendor if response to an emergency is not timely Having examined the invitation to bid for the Whitfield County School Nutrition Department including all specifications, conditions, and instructions, the undersigned propose to furnish the service that we have indicated at the price stated, and under the conditions specified in your proposal for the period of August 6, 2024 to June 30, 2025. The initial agreement shall begin August 6, 2024, and terminate absolutely without further obligation to the district on June 30, 2025. This agreement may be renewed for four (4) additional one (1) year terms upon the written approval of both parties.
