Demolition and site work for a residential development in Dayton, Ohio. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Demolition Services - Round Two The qualified Proposer(s) will provide all tools, labor, and materials for proper demolition within selected residential structures and all appurtenances, as well as any and all contents of the buildings. The work must be completed as requested and within the time frame given on each individual Notice of Possession (NOP), unless modified by one of the City's Nuisance Abatement Supervisor or Division Manager of Housing and Inspections The priorities with the ARPA-Coronavirus State Local Fiscal Recovery funds for the Department of Planning, Neighborhoods & Development (PND)'s plan for demolition and remediation: Priority One: Structures in Focus Neighborhoods PND will prioritize structures in the Focus Neighborhoods of Wolf Creek, Old North Dayton, Five Oaks, Carillon, Edgemont, and Miami Chapel. Contractor will complete demolition in all properties assigned in these neighborhoods first. Priority Two: Structures in Qualified Census Tracts identified as Dayton Recovery Plan Focus Areas Priority Three: Demolition to make way for Neighborhood Amenities and Improvements 25% Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) Participation Goal PRE-PROPOSAL MEETING. The City shall conduct a Recommended pre-proposal meeting. The pre-proposal meeting will be held virtually via Zoom at date and time listed in Section 1.02 (RFP Schedule). There will be no allowable extensions to this contract unless the Federal Guidelines and US Treasury Guidance extend the time frame of the funding and allow contract adjustments. Please direct all communications regarding the RFP process to: PNDbids@daytonohio.gov Last Day to Submit Questions: 5:00 PM local (Dayton OH) time on July 8, 2024 The Department of Planning, Neighborhoods & Development seeks qualified contractors to perform demolition services for approximately two-hundred (200) residential and commercial structures. The structures are included in the Request for Proposals. The City intendsto select an unspecified number of contractors and into a multi-year contractual agreement with the selected contractors who will provide demolition services. Interested individualsshallsubmit their Proposals detailing the requirements noted herein. It isthe City of Dayton'sintent to review all Proposals submitted and begin negotiations with the highest scoring contractor. Each selected Contractor will be awarded a maximum of one-hundred (100) properties. The city reserves the right to substitute up to ten equivalent properties. There is no guarantee of being awarded any properties as part of this RFP. The city reserves the right to cancel a demolition up to the start of the demolition process. Each selected contractor will be used to demolish properties based upon the contractor's pricing in exhibit A. The City will determine which group of selected contractors will be best suited for the different demolition demands. The City will not guarantee a minimum number of properties to demolish during the terms of the contracts and at its discretion will pull from the pool of contractors as the need arises.
