Renovation of an educational facility in Columbus, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The project includes, but is not limited to, the following work 1. Removal of existing chiller in second floor mechanical room of Evans Hall. 2. Installation of new automatic propylene glycol feeder. 3. Installation of required 40% propylene glycol solution to fill system to full capacity. 4. Installation of new chilled water supply and return piping from the second floor mechanical to the University-purchased packaged chiller outside on grade. 5. Installation of new 200 gallon buffer tank. Buffer tank to be installed in second floor mechanical room. 6. General Trades work will include new concrete pad for University-purchased packaged chiller and transformer, new louvered fence to screen packaged chiller and transformer, cutting and patching of roof for new chilled water piping penetrations, sealing exterior wall penetration, and site restoration. 7. Electrical work to include power for new University-purchased transformer and packaged chiller. 8. Control wiring from University-purchased chiller out on grade to existing control panel in second floor mechanical room. General Contract $459,146.00 EDGE Participation Goal: 5% Prevailing Wage rates and Equal Employment Opportunity requirements are applicable to this Project.
