Demolition and site work for a civil project in Mantua, Ohio. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

Proposals will be received for the following items of work: MANTUA WATER TREATMENT PLANT CONVERSION TO LIQUID CHLORINE The Contractor shall provide all labor, material and equipment necessary to construct a new chemical feed system for Sodium Hypochlorite consisting of: One bulk chemical storage tank, two storage day tanks, two peristaltic pumps, one in-line static mixer, containment skid, pump skid, and process piping. Other items include a dehumidifier with duct work, replacement of man doors, electrical and conduit work, and demolition of the existing gaseous Chlorine system. The Contractor shall familiarize himself with all of Section 20, including 'Information and Instructions to Bidders' and 'Special Construction Requirements' prior to bidding. All questions shall be directed to the Portage County Water Resources Department at 330-297-3670. This project will be funded by the Water Supply Revolving Loan Account (WSRLA) program as administered by the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (OEPA) and the Ohio Water Development Authority. The Contractor shall note that there are Disadvantaged Business Enterprise participation goals for this project. This procurement is subject to the OEPA policy on encouraging the participation of small businesses in rural areas (SBRAs).
