THE PROJECT GENERALLY CONSISTS OF the expansion of the Mebane Water Resource Recovery Facility from 2.5 MGD to 4.0 MGD, including a headworks expansion with self-cleaning element screen and vortex grit removal unit; an influent pump station; two (2) five-stage biological nutrient removal basins; two (2) secondary clarifiers; RAS Pump Station; four (4) denitrification filters; UV disinfection system; post-aeration system; chemical building; sludge holding tank conversion; and standby generator. The project also includes all buildings, piping, valves, chemical feeds, electrical, controls, SCADA, and related appurtenances Question Deadline 08/07/2024 at 5:00 PM ET All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to the Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by the Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered by either mail or approved electronic means to all parties recorded by the Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than five (5) days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. Contractor waives the right to rely on information provided by the Engineer which is not provided in writing and in the form of a formal Addendum.
