Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Kodak, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
The selected Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) will perform typical construction manager at-risk services for the project, as per AIA Document A133 - 2009 Standard Form of Agreement between Owner and Construction Manager as Constructor where the basis of payment is the Cost of the Work Plus a Fee with a Guaranteed Maximum Price and AIA document A201 - 2017, General Conditions of the Contract for Construction, with such modifications as may be agreed upon by the parties, or such other appropriate AIA Documents as may be agreed upon by the parties. The selected CMAR will be hired early in the process. The desire is to have the Architect, Owner and CMAR work together during the design phase to enable the most cost-efficient design based upon the team's past experience. The Public Building Authority of the City of Sevierville, Tennessee, as operating contractor and agent for the City of Sevierville, Tennessee ("PBA") invites proposals from qualified Construction firms (herein called "Firms") for Construction Manager at Risk for City of Sevierville Fire Station 4 and Public Works and Police Department Auxiliary. The following pages summarize the scope of work and requirements for the proposal. PBA may consider informal any proposal not prepared and submitted in accordance with the provisions hereof, and may waive any informality or reject any and all proposals. Any proposal received after the time and date specified shall not be considered. The purpose of the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to select the most highly qualified firm to provide Construction Manager at Risk Services, for purposes of budgeting, pricing and constructing the Fire Station 4 and Public Works and Police Station Auxiliary at 3099 Winfield Dunn Parkway, Kodak, TN 37764. The project will consist of new construction at the aforementioned address including: 1. Fire Station with 4-bay garage, living quarters, turnout storage, tool room, and decontamination space plus meeting space for general and police department use - Approx. 15,500 ft2 2. Public Works Equipment Storage Facility with 4-bay 50'x75' PEMB structure and wash bay - Appx. 3,750 ft 2 3. Salt Storage Bin as 40'x60' pad with concrete walls and PEMB roof - Appx. 2,400 ft2 4. Material Storage area with 4 open-walled concrete bays 5. Fuel Dispensing Canopy with 4 pumps and accompanying underground tanks under 60'x35' PEMB canopy 6.
