Renovation of a military facility in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 2,200-square-foot military facility.
Building 362 is located on the NSWDG north compound. Footprint optimization is required to accommodate user expanded requirements. The objective of this project is to renovate approximately 2200 SF within the 3rd deck of B362. The renovation will include demolition of the offices, demolition of interior walls, enlarging existing offices, new lighting, new Architectural finishes, new telecommunication wiring, Electrical/Mechanical upgrades and Fire Protection/Life Safety. Footprint optimization is required to accommodate user expanded requirements. The objective of this project is to renovate approximately 2200 SF within the 3rd deck of B362. Estimated Budget Amount or Price Range: In accordance with FAR 36.204(e) Disclosure of the Magnitude of Construction Projects, the estimated price range for this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. NAICS Code: 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction Time for completion: Contract completion date is 420 calendar days. The days are calculated from date of task order award, which includes the initial 15 days allowed for distribution of the task order award, submission and approval of insurance, bonding and other requirements set forth in the task order/MACC. Task order award is considered notice to proceed. ***Offerors must consider the total time to complete the project which includes, but not limited to, lead times of supplies, materials, and equipment. If the construction contract duration in the RFP is not feasible, offerors must submit a pre-proposal inquiry (PPI) by the PPI deadline with a proposed construction contract duration and explanation why additional time is needed.*** Pre-Propsal Inquiries (PPIs): PPIs must be submitted in writing on the attached Pre-Proposal Inquiry Form (ATTACHMENT I) to Abigail at email no later than 22 July 2024 at 14:00 PM EST *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
