As of October 2, 2025, the project has been completed. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Location: 80 Vandenburgh Ave Troy NY 12180 Hudson Valley Community College gives public notice that it is requesting submission of quotes from interested and qualified Contractors for the following project: Pressure House Demolition Hudson Valley Community College plans to select the lowest priced, qualified bidder for the purpose of demolishing the pressure house. HVCC currently owns a "Pressure House" which simulates drafts and leakages in residential homes. The pressure house is a 2,000 square foot, two story, modular cape cod with a full basement that was built in 2012. The Pressure House is currently located on leased land in the City of Troy, NY on Morrison Ave. The project involves the complete demolition and removal of the residential structure. The foundation will need to be demolished to at least one foot below grade elevation. The basement will need to be filled in and compacted so that the surface will not settle. The top 3 inches of fill will be top soil. The finished surface should be seeded and mulched.
