Renovation of a multi-residential development in Fort Payne, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.

Awarded to Page Properties and Construction, LLC dba Bama Roofing Will receive bids for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and services required to construct: Fort payne housing authority, iqc, task 1, fort payne, alabama - 2406, Consisting of roof replacement at various sites - Scope of work includes furnishing labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary for removal of existing work indicated on drawings or as required for juncture or installation of new work; repairs to existing work adjoining that removed; repairs as necessary to existing work caused by the installation of new work, and relocation of existing work as shown on drawings. Minor materials and work not specifically mentioned, but necessary for proper completion of this contract shall be provided at no additional cost to the Owner. A certified check drawn on a bank or trust company insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, payable to the Housing Authority, or satisfactory bond executed by an acceptable surety on the Bid Bond form contained in the Specifications, or other form acceptable to HUD and the LHA, and in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay forsatisfactory Performance and Payment Bond(s) in the amount of 100% of the contract amount. All sureties must be authorized to transact business in the State of Alabama and must be listed on the U.S. Treasury Department Circular No. 570 (most current list), published annually listing companies approved to act as surety on bonds securing government contracts, and said surety or sureties must be in accordance with maximum underwriting limits on each contract as specified in the above mentioned Circular No. 570. Before the opening of bids, bidders or their representatives may attend a Prebid Conference with representatives of the LHA and the Architect. The conference will serve to allow bidders to visit the site(s) and address questions to the LHA and Architect. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Specifications must be paid on this Project. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Housing Authority Document note: If documents are not returned, the entire deposit will be forfeited. Prime Contractors may purchase additional sets and subcontractors and material suppliers may purchase sets of the documents for the cost of reproduction which is $150.00 per set. This is not refundable. No partial sets will be issued. Shipping charges are in addition to deposit. Checks shall be made payable to the Fort Payne Housing Authority. Documents may also be obtained from the Architect electronically in a .pdf format, for which a deposit will not be required. No partial sets will be issued. Prime Contractors, subcontractors, and material suppliers who obtain documents in this manner are responsible for providing their full company name, mailing address, email address, phone number, and fax number to the Architect. Prime Contractors, subcontractors, and material suppliers who obtain documents in this manner are also fully responsible for verifying that they have received a complete set of the Contract Forms, Drawings and Specifications. The Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding. Question Deadline 08/07/2024 No oral interpretation will be made to any bidder as to the meaning of the Specifications and Drawings. Every request for an interpretation shall be made in writing and any inquiry received seven or more calendar days prior to the date fixed for opening bids will be given consideration.
