The Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) is currently seeking bids to establish a purchase order for the purchase and installation of HVAC package units at the LeBlanc Unit. Purchase and Installation of HVAC at the LeBlanc Unit - Provide four new packaged rooftop air conditioning units on an outdoor slab to replace four existing units. The new equipment shall meet or exceed the performance of the existing systems and meet all project specifications. Unit shall be 100% run tested before shipping. The existing electrical wires may be reused if they meet the requirements of the new equipment and - The existing conductors are not stiff or brittle The existing grounding and bonding of the electrical circuits are in good shape The existing conductors show now obvious signs of stress or damage from overheating, water, or pulling.
