Questions and answers will be distributed by addendum via the e-bid website electronically. It is the intent of the City to award the contract to one (1) or more Contractors: however, the City reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, to accept any bid deemed advantageous and to waive irregularity in the bids. The City also reserves the right to waive or dispense with any of the formalities contained herein. By submitting a bid, the Contractor acknowledges and will adhere to all specifications as stated within this ITB document. This document describes the requirements for providing as needed turnkey concrete sidewalk and street removal, repair and replacement services. Base contract services will include concrete saw cutting, concrete sidewalk removal and
replacement, area clean up and protection of the work. The successful Contractor
will provide qualified labor, materials, equipment, and superintendents to create the
work orders, manage the field work to accomplish these services to the speed and
quality required by the City of Pearland.
The following requirements and specifications shall be in addition to the other
requirements contained herein and shall supersede the other requirements where
applicable.
SILENCE OF SPECIFICATIONS: The apparent silence of these specifications as
to any detail or to the apparent omission from it of a detailed description concerning
any point, shall be regarded as meaning that only the best commercial practices
are to prevail. All interpretations of these specifications shall be made on the basis
of this statement
