Replace four (4) roof top A/C units on effluent and splitter box buildings at North Regional WWTP.
The contractor will furnish labor, equipment, tools, parts, safety gear, electrical wiring, control wiring, sheet
metalwork, crane, permit, insurance, and start-up.
Disconnect old units from the splitter building and effluent building and remove them, then set curb adapters and
new 4-ton high ARI SEER 14 RTUs with coated coils, winter start kit, hail guards, and electric heat.
Connect electrical wiring and control wiring to existing electrical service and drain lines. Install new thermostats.
Modify and connect ductwork to the new units. Refrigerant must be added according to the manufacturer's
instructions and the system charged. Refrigerant lines shall be coated with aluminum insulation wrap. Start up
new equipment and verify proper operation. Brief customer of any outstanding issues. Return equipment to
normal service.
The contractor will be responsible for hauling off all debris and old units.
All work shall be inspected and accepted by the Plant Manager or his designee. The contractor must correct all
"Punch List" deficiencies before the work is accepted as completed.
The contractor must visit the job site before bidding on the project.
