Site work and new construction of a civil project in Cookeville, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work to be bid on is generally as follows: The project generally consists of the furnishing of all materials, equipment, and labor for the TTU wet weather storage facility. The project will include the installation of the new TTU pump station, TTU tank, force main, gravity sewers, and all related appurtenances as shown on the Drawings. The project will also include all erosion control, excavation, grading, traffic control, demolition, and testing necessary to complete the work. The allotted time for construction is 580 calendar days. The 580 days allotted for construction will begin on the Notice to Proceed date. An administrative period of 60 days is allowable following the Effective Date of Agreement prior to the Notice to Proceed. In no event will the Contract Times commence to run later than the 120th day after the date of Bid Opening or 60th day after the Effective Date of Agreement, whichever is earlier. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any and all bids. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Con-tract Documents. Bid submission info : The outside of the sealed envelope shall clearly indicate that the sealed envelope contains a bid for a wet weather storage facility construction project.
