Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Pleasantville, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The project consists of installing approximately 1,550 feet of 12" storm sewer and 550 feet of 8" storm sewer including new catch basins and making connections to existing storm sewer. In addition to the storm sewer work, the concrete sidewalk and drive approaches will be replaced. Bid Documents as prepared by Verdantas may be examined free of charge during normal business hours at the following locations: Verdantas LLC, 1555 West Main Street, Newark, Ohio 43055, Ph. 740-344-5451 Pleasantville Municipal Building, 101 South Main Street, Pleasantville, Ohio 43148, Ph. (740) 468-2237 (noon to 4pm). Bidders are required to provide Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond in the amount of 100 percent of the Bid Price or certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit equal to ten percent of the bid amount to guarantee the Bidder's entrance into a contract, if awarded the project. Each bid must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the bid and all persons interested therein. Submit your offer on the Bid Form provided within these Bid Documents. Each Bidder must ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, handicap, ancestry, or age. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project shall to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123 is required. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Fairfield County as determined by the State of Ohio Prevailing Wage Determinations. The Engineer's base bid estimate is as follows: $351,400.00 Your offer will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 30 days after submission. In the event that the Owner is unable to obtain an Agreement with the Bidder initially selected, the Owner may award the contract to the next bid, most favorable to the Owner. The right is reserved by the Owner to reject any or all bids, and to waive any informality in bids received and to accept any bid which is deemed to be the lowest and best bid.
