Duff Green Park Waterline Improvements. The Contractor shall commence the Work promptly upon the date established in the Notice to Proceed. Pursuant to the General Conditions and Special Conditions, Owner may also issue a Limited Notice to Proceed for a portion of the Work. The Contractor shall achieve Final Completion, as defined in the General Conditions, within 180 calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed or the date otherwise established for the commencement of Work. This project is being funded with American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds. The Base Bid price shall include federal prevailing wages as required by the Davis Bacon Act. The liquidated damages incurred by the Owner due to the Contractor's failure to achieve Substantial Completion complete the Work within the Contract Time, including any extensions thereof, shall be $860 per calendar day for each consecutive calendar day beyond the Contract Time (Sundays and all holidays included) for which the Contractor shall fail to complete the Work.. Each Bid over $100,000 must be accompanied by (1) Letter of Credit; or (2) a copy of the Cashier's Check or a Certified Check from the Bidder in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Bid, made payable to the County of Stafford; or (3) a Bidder's Bond on the Bid Bond Form provided herein or on a similar form which in every respect materially complies with said Bid Bond Form, in the amount of five percent (5%) of his/her Bid.
