Site work for an educational facility in San Diego, California. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility.
Subject to conditions prescribed by the undersigned, Prequalification Questionnaires from Contractors licensed as follows: A General Engineering Contractor and/or B- General Building Contractor. Both projects involve Permanent Cantilevered Wall. Estimated Duration of Construction: 250 days. Estimated Duration of Construction: 120 days =370. Stabilization of a near-vertical slope, on the West side of Revelle 2000 building. Stabilization will be accomplished by the installation of a concrete retaining wall. The retaining wall is constructed of vertical concrete-encased soldier beam piles and infilled with a concrete retaining wall. The length of the retaining wall will be approximately 130' long and will vary in height from 8' (+/-) on the northmost end, and 14' on the southernmost end. A concrete brow ditch will be installed, at grade, behind the retaining wall to collect, control, and divert surface runoff to the storm drainage system. A railing system will be installed on top of the retaining wall.
