The vendor shall provide all grounds maintenance services on various canals, ditches, and their associated rights-of-ways, within the city limits, specified in the bid contract. All volunteer trees under two (2) inches, shrubs, or any vegetation growth on the canal flat deck or ditch bank, or hanging overhead preventing the completion of any canal or ditch cycle, is the responsibility of the contractor to address, cut, and remove. The contractor is responsible for notifying the authorizing department of any large obstructions, wash-outs, erosion, large tree growth over two (2) inches, or downed trees preventing the ability to complete the canal or ditch segment. Unless otherwise specified, all grounds maintenance services shall be provided in accordance with the City of Savannah Grounds Maintenance Specifications, listed herein, which shall be considered a part of the contract This is an annual contract and prices are to be held firm. The first term shall begin on the date of award and end one year after. This agreement may be renewed for up to four (4) additional 12-month periods if all contracting parties agree and services provided by the vendor have been satisfactory. In the event this contract is not renewed prior to the expiration of any term, this contract shall continue to be honored on a month-to month basis until this contract has been renewed.
