As of September 12, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established. This project includes complete park development. This will include demo/disposal of existing concrete, sewer line replacement, (550 feet of 6 inch line), grading, water quality system, pavilion, cantilevered shade structure with bleachers, water feature, a playground (2-5 years old and a playground for 5-12 years old , picnic area, previous walking trail, landscape, sod, and irrigation. Civil plans and site design attached. NOTE: Entire area is in a food plain. A certifed check or bank draft, payable to the Northwest Georgia Housing Authority, U.S. Government Bonds, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and acceptable sureties in an amount equal to fve (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory performance and payment bond or bonds. All bonds must be signed by a Georgia Resident for Resident Agent. NWGHA reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding.
