ILDOT - Construction of a Single Span PPCDB Bridge DESCRIPTION OF WORK The proposed improvement consists of removal of an existing concrete deck structure on steel stringers with closed concrete abutments, construction of a single span precast prestressed concrete deck bridge, shaping and placing riprap in the channel, reconstruction of approximately 128 feet of roadway embankment, seeding all disturbed areas, and miscellaneous items necessary to complete the improvement.
