This Invitation to Tender is being issued by the Health Organization for the design, renovation and installation of a 2nd Mammo Unit BC Cancer Vancouver Medical Imaging. Scope of work will be implemented in sequence, as per the phases described below (based on room location and impact on operations): a. Phase 01: Renovation room 3340B new Mammography Room and five (5) Changing Rooms (3340F, 3340E, 3340J, 3340G and 3340H, see drawing on Appendix C for room location). New equipment will be installed in this room after renovation is completed. Note: the room is currently empty for construction. b. Phase 02: Renovation of the existing Biopsy Room (3253C), plus potentially the optional scope of work included in the alternative price #1 which includes rooms: i. Office (room 3253D) ii. IV Prep (room 3253F, CORR-003) There is a biopsy equipment in room 3253C that will remain in the room during construction, all other pieces will be removed from the room during construction c. Phase 03: Renovation of the existing Mammography Room 3253B, plus potentially the optional scope of work included in the alternative price #2 which includes the rooms: i. Waiting Room (3253G, CORR-003, 3253F, 3253), ii. Changing Rooms 3257B, 3257C, 3258 B and 3258C; There is a Mammography equipment in room 3253B that will remain in the room during construction, all other pieces will be removed from the room during construction. General Contractor to install temporary hoarding for equipment delivery in the new Mammography Room (3340B), and to protect the equipment in the existing Biopsy (3253C) and Mammography Room (3253B) during construction. Alternative Price: a. Alternative Price 01: Renovation to room 3253D Renovation to room 3253E (IV Room) including CORR-004. b. Alternative Price 02: Renovation to Waiting Rooms (3253G, CORR-003, 3253F, 3253), and renovation to four (4) Changing Rooms 3257B, 3257C, 3258 B and 3258C The main scope for this project includes the renovation of new Mammography Room (3340B), five Changing Rooms (3340F, 3340E, 3340J, 3340G and 3340H), existing Biopsy Room (3253C), existing Mammography Room (3253B), to be implemented in three phases as described above. The optional scope of work is described as alternative price (1&2), it will be potentially part of the phases 2 and 3 as described above (based on location of the rooms and impact on the operation). The ready-for-takeover date(s) is anticipated.
