Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Viroqua, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to OWNER in an amount of 5% of the Bidder's maximum Bid price. The City of Viroqua reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any technicality, and to accept any Bid which it deems advantageous. All Bids shall remain subject to acceptance for 85 days after the time set for receiving Bids. Contract award shall be made based on the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder. The Project to be constructed will be funded by the WisDOT Transportation Alternatives Program and is subject to all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the federally determined prevailing Davis-Bacon and Related Acts wage rates, as issued by the Department of Labor, and contained in the Project Documents, must be paid on this Project. In addition, the successful Bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gener identity, or national origin. Bidders shall comply with Executive Order No. 11246 and Buy America provisions and demonstrate positive efforts to utilize Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs), including Women's and Minority-owned businesses. All contractors and subcontractors must be cleared (not suspended or debarred) prior to any formal action authorizing the Award of a Contract to the prime contractor. DBEs are encouraged to submit Bids for this Project. The prime contractor must perform at least thirty percent of the original contract amount with the contractor's own organization as per Section 108.1.2 of the current edition of the WisDOT Standard Specifications for Highway and Structure Construction.
