2024 Asphalt Street Projects The City of Cameron reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids. A pre-bid conference will not be held for this project. Bidders are encouraged to contact the office of the Public Works Director with questions. The Public Works Director will transmit to all prospective Bidders of record such addenda, as Public Works Director considers necessary in response to questions. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. This work consists of a varies milling, full depth patch, edge and header milling and variable 2" milling to obtain a uniform cross slope of 2% from edge of curb to center of road, and placing a 2" MoDot State BP-1 asphaltic surface. Areas of full depth milling, (8") will use two lifts of APWA base or equal. The equipment for milling and removing the pavement surface shall be capable of removing a thickness of bituminous or concrete material to the specified depth and providing a uniform profile and cross slope. The device shall provide control for producing a uniform surface to grade and a crossslope in accordance with the typical roadway section. The roadway pavementshall be removed and planned around and over manholes, utility valves, drainage appurtenances, within the limits of the work. Contractor shall also be responsible for the tack and all clean up. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to accept other than the lowest bid and to waive any irregularities or informalities in bids received. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days subsequent to the specified time for receipt of bids The City of Cameron is an equal opportunity employer.
