Save Ellis Island, Inc, seeks experienced Historic Restoration General Contractors who specialize in masonry, ground stabilization through chemical grouting, brick repair and reconstruction of walls, concrete, stucco repair, roof restoration, copper roof flashing and hung gutter repair, finish carpentry, and plaster repair to submit a Prequalification statement for the: Stabilization at three locations on Island 3 of Ellis Island, Jersey City, NJ. The project generally consists of the following: 1) Selective demolition, salvage, and shoring, 2) Restoration of roofing, including new flashing and drainage, 2) Masonry repairs and reconstruction, including brick ties and repointing, 3) Ground stabilization through chemical grouting, 4) Concrete slab and structural rib repair, 5) Rough and finish carpentry and restoration, 6) Plaster repair 7) Archeological monitoring.
