Project Location: 714 E National Cemetery Rd Florence SC 29506SC DDSN Pee Dee Center Description: Remove and install two 2.5 Ton HVAC/Heat Pump and Air Handler units at 302 Mulberry. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Construction Cost Range: 12,000.00- 30,000.000 A. Remove and dispose of two existing HVAC / Heat Pump and Air Handlers units. B. Install two new HVAC / Heat Pump and Air Handlers units. General Scope: A. Furnish all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to remove existing HVAC Units and install new HVAC units and related items indicated on the drawings and/or specified herein. B. Contractors will provide all labor and materials meeting state laws and regulations. C. The contractor will be responsible for removal and disposal of the existing air-conditioners. D. The contractor will be responsible to have all units running efficiently at final walk-through. E. They will repair any damage done to State property during the project. Acceptable Manufacturers: A. Acceptable manufacturers are Trane, Carrier, Payne, ICP, Lennox, York, Heil, Rheem, Rudd, Goodman, Byrant, Daikin, and Mitsubishi. Installation: A. All replacement units must be set up to use R410-A refrigerant. B. The efficiency standards for heat pump systems will be 14.3 SEER2 which is equivalent to 15.0 SEER and 7.5 HSPF2, or 8.8 HSPF. C. When installing copper refrigerant tubing, a dry nitrogen purge must be used to prevent oxidation inside the pipe. D. When installation of the unit is complete, a vacuum must be pulled on the refrigerant system to remove moisture and contaminants, and the system must be leak tested. E. The existing thermostats will be connected to energy management system. F. A local power disconnect must be installed at the package unit. G. Reuse existing pad
