Site work and paving for a road / highway in Natchez, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Furnishing of all labor and materials and performing all activities specified in the Contract Documents, for the Downtown Pavement Repairs and Improvement Project. The work in this project consists generally of asphalt base failure repair and milling and overlay of select downtown streets. Bid bond, signed, or countersigned by a Mississippi Resident Agent, with Power of Attorney attached or on file with the City, a Cashier's Check or Certified Check for five (5%) percent of bid, payable to CITY OF NATCHEZ, MISSISSIPPI, must accompany each proposal. No bid may be altered, modified, or withdrawn within sixty (60) days after being filed with the Board of Aldermen. Funding for this project is provided by the City of Natchez. A Pre-Bid meeting will not be held for this project. The Contract Time will be sixty (60) consecutive calendar days. Liquidated damages will be $250 per consecutive calendar day thereafter. The City of Natchez hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex, religion, or national origin in consideration for an award. State law requires a non-resident bidder to attach/include a copy of his resident state's current law pertaining to such state's treatment of nonresident contractors with their bid. Any bid submitted by a non-resident contractor which does not include the non-resident contractor's current state law shall be rejected and not considered for award. The City of Natchez reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities, to negotiate with the lowest and best bidder to reduce the bid price to come within the funds allocated for the work, to reduce the job in order to stay within available funding or as desirable in the discretion of the Board of Aldermen, and to accept bids by classes and/or groups, if applicable, all as set forth and in accordance with applicable Mississippi law and in the Instructions to Bidders
