* No Award. The University of Regina (UofR) is looking to construct concrete piles for 4 flag poles at the entrance to the Riddell Centre, 3 primary flags for Saskatchewan, Treaty 4, and Metis flags (all 25') and 1 guest flag (20'). Flag poles and anchor bolt packages will be supplied by the UofR through Wallace. An Engineered design has been completed by JCK, see attached drawings for pile details and installation specifications. The successful contractor will be responsible for: - Site preparation including: layout, locate confirmation (locates called for by UofR and will be provided when received), existing concrete sawcut/removal/disposal; - Traffic and pedestrian control via signage and barricades and/or fencing as required to keep public safe distance from operating equipment; UofR will assist with notification to City of Regina Transit Services: Fencing and/or barricades to be maintained to through completion; - Pile installation as per specificatoins, ensuring appropriate finish product and elevations of pile cap; PILE CAP TO EXTEND 6" ABOVE GRADE - drawings will be updated to reflect this: Installation of supplier anchor bolt package within pile cap; coordinate with UofR to ensure the flag pole winch access is orientated appropriately for each location; - QA testing as per specifications; - Sidewalk replacement as required and joint sealant as per specifications; - Pickup, delivery and erecting of flag poles - required to be complete by August 26, 2024. - Site clean up to original state.
