Demolition and site work for a civil project in Gravelbourg, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work includes the following approximate quantities: Demolition of a 1928 (approx.), 45.4 m (149 ft) tall 28.4 m3 (75,000 USG) elevated steel water tank, upright supporting system and standpipe. Steel Tank dimensions: 6.70 m (22 ft) diam. x 5.89 m (19 ft 4 in) tall. Steel Tank wall thickness between 6.4 mm (1/4 in) and 4.8 mm (3/16 in). Demolition of cinderblock wall control shed with wooden roof (approx. 14 m2 ). Cut and cap watermain from water tower including thrust blocking and disinfection of watermain. All addenda, request for clarification and other tender information will be issued from the office of the Engineer only. All requests shall be directed to the Engineer. The Project shall attain Substantial Performance prior to August 30, 2024, prior to the adjacent school and daycare fall session commencement. Tenders must be accompanied by the Tender Form and a Letter of Consent issued by a duly licensed Surety Company AND a Bid Bond OR Certified Cheque in the amount of Ten Percent of the Total Tender Price made payable to the Town of Gravelbourg. The lowest or any Tender will not necessarily be accepted.
