Joeris General Contractors, LTD (Construction Manager) will be accepting trade partner proposals for NISD - Building Upgrades at Colonies North Elementary School - Package 2. Project Description: 1) Base Bid: New 2-story addition at the Colonies North ES school campus. The new addition is a 2-story 50,500 sf +/- building. 1st floor footprint is 38,300 sf +/- and the second floor is 12,200 sf +/-. First floor of the new elementary school will consist of a kitchen, cafeteria, gymnasium, music room, stage, and administration. The second floor will be mainly classrooms. 2) Base Bid: At specified areas within the existing campus, selective demo and renovations and renovations will occur (2900 SF +/-). 3) Alternate 1 - After completion of new addition, the existing cafeteria kitchen will be repurposed into classrooms. Construction period is scheduled between December 2025 to Summer 2026. Construction Schedule: Base bid construction period is scheduled between September 2024 and January 2026.
