Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Markham, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; playground / park / athletic field; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

The bridge will be connecting two (2) existing parks: Russell Carter Tefft Park (95 Alexander Lawrie Ave) and Bruce Boyd Parkette (32 Country Ridge Dr), see 1.2 Location Map for parks location. The anticipated Work for this Project may include, but is not limited to the following: - Delineate limits of construction with silt fence and install temporary sediment and erosion control measures and tree protection; - Establish site access and staging areas, including crane pads on both side of the bank; - Undertake required clearing and grubbing including removal and off-site disposal of any debris; - Install 30m span x 3m wide bridge crossing as per Contract Drawings; - Construct 32m long x 3m wide porous asphalt multi-use trail to the satisfaction of the Site Administrator and as per Contract Drawings; - Install armourstone retaining wall as per the Contract Drawings; - Grading and topsoil application, installation of erosion control measures including coir matting; - Undertake turbidity monitoring upstream and downstream extent of the work area to measure total dissolved solids during and after rainfall events to ensure erosion and sediment control measures are effective; - Install conservation signages at the Russell Carter Tefft and Bruce Boyd Parkette to inform public on Redside Dace Habitat on Robison Creek; - Restore the site with native plantings, terraseeding, and sodding as per Restoration Plan and to satisfaction of the Site Administrator; - Removal of all sediment and erosion control devices, silt fences, and tree protection fences.
