Saving Project...

Renovation of an educational facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

**Per Addendum 1 the bid date has been extended from 08/06/24 to 08/13/24** This project will be the installation of a new chiller, boiler, associated primary and secondary pumps, air removal, and water treatment, including new pump VFD's, VAV boxes for Area A, and associated chilled water and hot water system controls to serve the Wake Technical Community College Southern Wake Campus Building SP. The existing 155-ton chiller CH-1 will be replaced with a new 160-ton air cooled chiller, as well as new primary pumps to serve chiller CH-1 and a new secondary chilled water pump to serve Building SP. The existing cast-iron sectional boiler B-1 will be replaced with two (2) new 1500 MBH condensing boilers with new primary pumps to serve each boiler as well as secondary pumps to serve Building SP. Work will include a new variable frequency drives for the new secondary pumps, new Boiler Room Exhaust Fan, new Unit Heater, new duct heater to serve room C300 (Tool Room), removal of hot water coil in AHU-A1, installation of new VAV boxes in Area A, with associated modifications to ductwork, chilled water piping, heating hot water piping, natural gas piping, and chilled water & hot water controls.
