Demolition, site work, new construction, renovation and addition to a water / sewer project in Canutillo, Texas. Completed plans call for the addition of a water / sewer project; for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the construction of a water / sewer project; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

This project involves the demolition of the existing chlorine scrubber and chlorination system and the expansion of the existing building to include a new chlorine storage room that will house the new chlorine containment system and a separate room to house the chlorination equipment. The expanded building will include a new slab on grade with CMU walls and steel bar joists. The roofing will be insulated, built-up, and bituminous roofing. The expanded building will have new electrical including but not limited to lighting, outlets, supply and exhaust fans, and a chlorine leak detection system. The chlorine storage room will house four one-ton ChlorTainer vessels with scales and associated racking to allow installation and retrieval of 1-ton chlorine cylinders and all other appurtenances for a complete operational chlorine supply system. The contractor shall supply all the required materials, tools, labor, equipment and incidentals for a complete and operational project. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities not involving price, time or changes in the Work and the right to disregard all immaterial, nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids The Bidder shall demonstrate that it has at least one (1) experienced employee or qualified subcontractor who is a Texas licensed master electrician, that has at least five (5) years of electrical installation experience in existing booster stations similar in nature and scope to the project being bid. Wages paid on this project shall be not less than the minimum prevailing wage rates listed in the Contract Documents, Section 00840, General Wage Requirements Each Bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of five percent of the amount bid. The Successful Bidder states he or she must furnish a 100 percent (100%) Performance Bond and a 100 percent (100%) Payment Bond, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and the General Conditions.
