Site work for a civil project in Mount Albert, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This tender is for the construction of the Vivian Creek Wetland, Stream, and Drainage Improvements design. The objective of this project is to enhance the overall natural heritage and biodiversity of this park by enhancing the existing wetland habitat through regrading, planting native vegetation and seeding with native seed mixes. There are two wetlands (0.29ha) that will be made deeper and re-graded to improve water retention, and a portion of the local drainage will be redirected to these wetlands. In addition, some of the existing drainage will be enhanced to improve the overall usability of the trail system. A portion of the existing wetland will also be modified to a pit and mound style topography. Along with these improvements, a 35m stretch of the Vivian Creek streambank will be restored and strengthened using bioengineering techniques.
