Renovation of a municipal facility in Pocatello, Idaho. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

As of August 1, 2024 no plan to rebid the project Bannock County is requesting sealed bids to remove the existing HVAC system and replace it with a new engineered system at the County Annex building. Deadline to Receive Questions: July 19, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. Mountain Time It is the intent of this specification to replace the existing HVAC unit and ductwork and install a new, high efficiency HVAC system as shown in the provided engineered plans. Installation shall be in a timely manner to avoid disturbances to the occupants of the building. Multiple new high efficiency HVAC units will provide better temperature control throughout the building. New ductwork will provide a cleaner work environment for all occupants. Special considerations and planning will be required to provide a comfortable workspace temperature during construction. The building will be occupied and open to the public Monday through Friday, therefore careful considerations must be made to ensure a safe work environment for county employees and the public as well. Evening and weekend work may be necessary. New HVAC units will be on the rooftop and in the attic space, protection from the elements will be required. Attic platforms will be provided to install equipment. Refer to the engineered specifications regarding new gas piping, venting, installation, and duct sizing. The south side of the structure will have a new acoustic ceiling installed below all ductwork; north side will be utilizing the existing ceiling grid. All existing ductwork and equipment shall be disposed by contractor. All equipment, options, and features provided must be designed, constructed, and installed to be fully suitable for their intended use and service. All components must be new. A contract will be awarded to the bidder submitting the lowest responsive bid meeting the requirements of the specifications. All work will require a final inspection from the City of Pocatello Building Department, Bannock County, and Booth Architecture to ensure the engineered specifications were followed, as well as all applicable building, mechanical, and plumbing codes prior to final payment Online - Q&A Contract for said services rendered from date contract is fully executed through December 31, 2024
