Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in San Jose, California. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
As of August 5, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on August 15, 2024. Consists of Pulverizing, Soil Treatment & HMA Paving; Installing 2x6 Headerboard; Installing New Utility Boxes; Removing Fencing & Replacing After Paving; Removing Existing Basketball Standards and Installing New Basketball Standards; New Paint Markings; and all other miscellaneous details associated with the work. Bid Bond 10.00% Payment Bond 100.00%. Performance Bond 100.00%. Online Q&A Yes Q&A Deadline 07/17/2024 2:00 PM (PDT). The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond if it is awarded the Contract for the Work. A bid bond by an admitted surety insurer on the form provided by the District a cashier's check or a certified check, drawn to the order of the East Side Union High School District, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price, shall accompany the Bid Form and Proposal, as a guarantee that the Bidder will, within seven (7) calendar days after the date of the Notice of Award, enter into a contract with the District for the performance of the services as stipulated in the bid. Liquidated Damages $2,000 per day Estimated Bid Value $1,100,000.00. Project Duration 90 consecutive calendar days. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received. If the District awards the Contract, the security of unsuccessful bidder(s) shall be returned within sixty (60) days from the time the award is made. Unless otherwise required by law, no bidder may withdraw its bid for ninety (90) days after the date of the bid opening.
