Renovation of a parking garage in West Palm Beach, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.
The City of West Palm Beach is accepting bids from qualified and responsible Contractors to furnish and assume full responsibility to repair the Clematis Street Parking Garage as shown in the construction plans and described in the technical specifications for the project. Contractor shall furnish and assume full responsibility for all labor, materials, construction equipment and machinery, transportation, tools, appliances, fuel, power, light, telephone, water, sanitary facilities, temporary facilities and all other facilities, taxes, bonds and insurance, permitting fees, traffic control, security, miscellaneous costs, warranties, general conditions, overhead and profit and other incidentals necessary to perform the Work The following Project description is for general information only and should not be construed to be a complete description of all work required. Reference should be made to the construction drawings and technical specifications along with the General Conditions. Project Site: Clematis Street Parking Garage 2023-2024 Repairs located at 500 Banyan Blvd, West Palm Beach, FL 33401 Final Questions Due January 21, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. All questions or inquiries must be received no later than ten (10) calendar days prior to the Bid Submittal Deadline. Inquiries regarding the Small Business Program or MWBE Program may be directed to: Sandra Hammerstein, Program Compliance Officer (561) 822-1273 SHammerstein@wpb.org Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond, certified check, or cashier check, in an amount not less than 5% of the Bid. Bids submitted by telephone, facsimile or email shall not be accepted Substantial Completion: 120 calendar days after NTP. Final Completion 165 calendar days after NTP, but not less than 45 days from Substantial Completion. The overall scope of this project includes but is not limited to the following: o Topside concrete slab spall/delamination repairs. o Overhead/soffit concrete slab spall/delamination repairs. o Concrete wall spall/delamination repairs. o Provide and install supplemental shear connectors. o Precast double tee-to-tee joint sealant replacement. o Exterior facade sealant replacement. o Provide and install floor drain and piping. o Rout and seal existing slab cracks. o Replace existing drain covers. o Provide heavy duty recoat of existing deck coating. o Remove existing line striping and provide new. o Provide temporary platform to maintain entry/exit to garage during garage painting. o Paint exterior of parking garage. o Remove and reinstall parking bumpers, as needed. o Replace existing carbon monoxide sensors with newer versions. o Replace failed cove sealants. o Construction along the east elevation of the garage will require coordination with the Florida East Coast (FEC) Railway. A separate permit will be required from the FEC prior to commencing that work. Right of Entry application form (Attachment C) attached for reference. Only awarded contractors are required to complete the Right of Entry form and acquire insurance required for access to railway property.
