As of October 2, 2024, project was awarded to Griffin Paving & Construction with an awarded amount of $1,897,400.26. construction of: FENN ROAD IMPROVEMENTS PHASE 1 FOR CRISP COUNTY generally consisting of furnishing all products and performing all labor necessary to accomplish the installation of approximately 3,650 l.f. of asphalt roadway improvements, 1,180 l.f. of 18"-42" storm sewer pipe, 44 storm sewer structures, striping, and all appurtenances in accordance with Drawings, Specifications and other Contract Documents prepared by Lanier Engineering, Inc. PROPOSAL GUARANTY: A bid bond shall be required in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount. BONDS REQUIRED: A Contract Performance Bond and a Materials and Payment Bond will be required of the successful bidder. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. FUNDING: The project is funded through the GDOT Local Maintenance & Improvement Grant (LMIG) in conjunction with local funds. PERMITS: All anticipated permits will be obtained by the Owner for construction associated with this project. Land/Easement Acquisition: All anticipated rights-of-way and easements will be obtained by the Owner for construction associated with this project. PROJECT COMPLETION: All work on the project must be completed within 180 consecutive calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed with Construction. STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS: The GDOT Standard Specifications Construction of Transportation Systems, 2021 Edition, GDOT Supplemental Specifications Book, Latest Edition, and applicable Special Provisions and Supplemental Specifications apply to this contract.
