Mistakes discovered after award: Bids containing mistakes by bidders shall not be withdrawn after award of a contract or issuance of a purchase order. The County is not responsible for a bidder's clerical or mathematical errors. The County further reserves the right to reject any bid in whole or in part, delete items before making an award, or waive any informality, in accordance with the Virginia Public Procurement Act. I agree to abide by all conditions of this bid and that I am authorized to sign this bid.. General Scope a. Inspections shall be based on hourly rates. Annual, quarterly and semi-annual sprinkler inspections, annual fire pump testing, annual backflow testing and five year sprinkler testing shall be in accordance with NFPA-25 or to the standards of the authority having jurisdiction if their standards exceed or supersede the applicable code. Any other required inspections (such as three year leak down test, five year hydrostatic, etc.) shall be conducted at the contract hourly rate. CCPS may elect to have the Contractor make any necessary repairs. The contract hourly rate shall apply to any repairs and material shall be furnished at the Contractor's cost. Contractor's invoice for material shall accompany the invoice. Chesterfield County is not currently accepting electronic submissions of this solicitation type.
