Summary of Proposed Project: We, on behalf of the Town of New Boston, are soliciting proposals for third party testing and inspection services on the above project. The project includes construction of a new 17,476 s.f. fire station. The building is single story comprised of a pre-engineered apparatus bays and a wood framed administration building. The site plan and statement of special inspections are attached for your review. The project will commence construction in August of 2024 and be completed by August of 2025. The selected firm should be prepared to begin providing services in August 2024. 1. Soil sampling and compaction testing 2. Concrete sampling and testing 3. Structural steel weld and bolted connection testing 4. Wood framing inspection Provide a brief submission that includes the following: 1. Profile of firm 2. Unit prices for testing and inspections based on the statement of special inspections 3. Hourly rates for personnel as applicable 4.
