Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Tununak, Alaska. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; bridge / tunnel; transportation facility; for paving for a transportation facility; and for outdoor lighting for a transportation facility.

This project proposes to rehabilitate and resurface the operational surfaces at the Tununak Airport to correct cracks, ruts, uneven surfaces, dips (over 6"), soft spots, and ponding. Dust palliative will be applied for fines preservation to bind aggregate and prevent loss of fines. Drainage improvements may include special ditching and culvert realignment where needed. Lighting and visual aids will be repaired or replaced where they have been damaged or displaced by subsidence. Project will be ready to advertise but is not expected to be funded in FY26 at this time. Timing advertisement will depend on availability of federal funding or DOT&PF’s ability to advertise the project in advance of federal funding.
