Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Georgetown, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the construction of a 67,240-square-foot municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

As per Post-Bid Addendum 1, Bid Package 05 Masonry ONLY will be re-bid on Thursday, July 18th, 2024 at 2:00 PM EST. The Scott County Hall of Justice project consists of a new 67,240 SF facility including six courtrooms, clerk area, underground secure parking and holding cells. The construction has spread footings with supporting caissons, structural steel framing with metal stud framing, brick and cast stone veneer, aluminum storefront windows, and a sloped membrane roof system. The site has a large plaza area with a paved rear parking lot including a geothermal well field and storm water detention system. A 10% bid bond or certified check equal to 10% of the bid including all alternates is required to be submitted with the official form of proposal. All bid bonds shall be on the Consensus Doc Form 760. Bid Guarantees on other forms shall not be accepted and will result in a non-responsive bid. A 100% payment and performance bond shall be provided for the full base bid amount plus any accepted bid alternate(s), upon receipt of a Notice of Award. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening of bids. Clerical errors and omissions in the computation of the lump sum bid shall not be cause for withdrawal of bid without forfeiture of bid bond. Bids may be withdrawn in person only, prior to the closing date for receipt of bids. The Construction Manager reserves the right to accept and/or reject any bid deemed to be in the best interest of the Scott County Fiscal Court in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The awarding of bid packages shall be based on best value criteria as established by the Construction Manager upon review of bid results and statement of qualifications from bidders. The last day for questions from interested bidders will be Thursday, July 11th, 2024 by 2:00 PM EST.
