As of August 30, 2024, project was awarded to Mountain Roof Repairs, LLC but award amount is not available. Navajo County has been awarded a federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) from the Arizona Department of Housing, for the replacement of the roof of the Clay Springs Community Center. This project is subject to the Build America, Buy America Act (iron and steel) and Davis-Bacon wages. Navajo County will accept bids from qualified firms registered with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors to perform the following services: Remove and replace the current asphalt shingle roof with a new metal roof system (if funds allow), or a new asphalt shingle roof. The project will take place at the Clay Springs Community Center, 2114 Sandstone Road, in Clay Springs, Arizona. The project location is north of Highway 260, about 19 miles northwest of the city of Show Low The Community Center that the roof covers is approximately 11,957 square feet in size. Any request for an explanation of the meaning or interpretations of the bid shall be submitted no later than 12:00 p.m. M.S.T., July 24, 2024 If the Department determines interpretations or explanations are warranted, the response will be issued as an addendum to the bid and will be posted to the Navajo County website electronic by end of day on July 26, 2024.
