Provision of Water and Sewer Main Improvements for Ocean Avenue, Stevens Avenue, Warren Street and Academy Street. Bidders Shall Include One (1) Original and One (1) Copy of the Bid Package, as Well as One Copy on a Cd-rom or Usb Drive in a Pdf Format. Each Bid Must Be Accompanied by a Consent of Surety and a Bid Bond, Cashier's Check or Certified Check for Not Less Than Ten (10%) Percent of the Amount for the Bid or $20,000.00 Maximum, Whichever is Lower. Certified Checks Shall Be Made Payable to the Jersey City Municipal Utilities Authority. The Bidder and Its Surety Shall Provide a Consent of Surety and the Surety Shall Be Bound to Furnish a Performance Bond in the Amount of One Hundred (100 %) Percent of the Contract Price. Consent of Surety Must Be Written by a Surety Company Listed on the Federal Treasury List (Environmental Protection Department Circular 570-surety Companies Acceptable on Federal Bonds) as Required by N.j.a.c. 7:22-3.17(G). Bidders Must Comply With the Requirements of the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act, N.j.s.a. 34:11-56.25 Et Seq., and Implementing Regulations With Respect to Conditions of Employment to Be Observed and Minimum Wage Rates to Be Paid. Bidders Must Comply With the Requirements of N.j.s.a. 10:5-31 Et Seq. And N.j.a.c. 17:27-1.1 Et Seq. Affirmative Action of the State of New Jersey. Accompanying the Bid of Any Corporation, Partnership, or Limited Liability Company There Shall Be Submitted a Statement of Ownership in Accordance With N.j.s.a. 52:25-24.2. The Authority Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids, to Waive Any Informalities, or to Accept the Bid for the Contract That, in Its Sole Judgment, Best Serves the Interests of the Authority, in Accordance With Applicable Law.
