The contract provides for an assessment of an existing test well to include physical observation, test pumping, and water quality analysis, along with determination of influence on adjacent wells. Additionally, this contract provides for the exploration and testing of up to four (4) test wells on property already owned by Marbury Water System Marbury Water System seeks to make improvements to the water system and has obtained Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) assistance (Project No. FS010006-02) through the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM). Compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, rules, and regulations are required. A Performance Bond in an amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract cost and Labor and Material Payment Bond in an amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract cost in the form and terms approved by Marbury Water System will be required at the signing of the contract. In addition, the bidder must furnish Marbury Water System at the time of the signing of the contract a certificate of insurance coverage as provided in the specifications. The right is reserved to reject any and/or all bids and to waive informalities and to furnish any item of material or work to change the amount of said Contract. Bids shall be clearly identified on the exterior of the package with the bidder's name, address, the name of the project being bid, and time and place of the bid opening. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technical errors if the best interest of the Owner will thereby be promoted. All bids received after the date and time of the bid opening noted above will be returned unopened.
