The NYS Office of Mental Health and Rockland Psychiatric Center are seeking to procure, through an Invitation for Bid (IFB), a Contractor to provide Inspection & Testing of Switchgear & Ancillary Equipment at Rockland Psychiatric Center located at 140 Old Orangeburg Road, Orangeburg, NY 10962. The Program Work Plan with Preventative Maintenance Tasks, Equipment List, Schedule Matrix, etc. is located in Appendix D of the Contract Boilerplate. Interested Vendors should review the Contract Boilerplate and IFB document for further information. Included with these documents is a Bid Quote Sheet in Excel format that should be used to submit your bid. Equipment located in the Building 152 and the Mirror Project will be relocated via a facility project during this contract. All equipment quantities and specifications for each piece of equipment will remain the same. Some of the transfer switches are covered under the Facility Generator contract through December 31, 2025. The equipment is noted in Appendix D, Exhibit B - Equipment List with a Note 2. The equipment will begin coverage under this contract effective in Year 2, on January 1, 2026. Questions from bidders attending the site visit are to be submitted by Tuesday, July 30, by 3:00 PM EST per the instructions in the IFB.
